...of an IWU Wildcat

As I begin my college experience, I realize a couple of things. The days are long, but the weeks are short. The work is hard, but I learn a lot. Time management is key, but I have to make sure to leave room for fun. And the last thing I realized is that Indiana Wesleyan is right where God wants me. I have been learning so much here. Yes, learning about Human Communications, Statistics, and Speech; but mostly about God and His plans for my life. There have been so many experiences here already that have shown God's power and love. Summit shook my world as I realized that I hadn't trusted God for everything, specifically my Grave's Disease. I am learning to lay that down and for the first time in a year, my thyroid levels are perfect. Praise the Lord!
Something else God has blessed me with in my time here is an amazing group of friends. The girls in my unit have are beautiful and wonderful women of God. Not only have I been blessed with them, but God has also given me friends outside of my unit to turn to as well. The conversations I've had with some of these people have taught me a lot about myself and about God. Even during the times we are goofing off and just having fun I can see God shining through them. I know that the next four years are going to be big, huge! But for now I'll just live my day in the life of an IWU Wildcat.
